Boconnoc Wedding for Jennifer & Matt - Early May

Jennifer and Matt traveled over the pond to get married here in the UK. Their style was simple, classical, elegance and allowed each element of their day to shine without the ‘add ons’ you often find in the wedding sector.

I loved their approach and it allowed me to create florals that embraced the seasonality and location of their wedding. Huge thanks to Jennifer and Matt for trusting my vision - their wedding looked absolutely stunning.

Their day was beautifully captured by the ever so talented Taylor & Porter.

Bridal Party Florals

Jennifer & Matt married in very early May so the garden gave the last rather special tulips of the season. Tulip Vovo’s created a mauve, dusky pink to the palette. Teamed with hellebores and azaleas this bouquet was also packed with scent.

Ceremony Florals

Jennifer and Matt chose to marry in the beautiful Dorothy Garden at Boconnoc. With the new growth for the spring season we knew the gardens would be in a beautiful fresh state so the need to over style just wasn’t there. Instead they opted for two large elegant floor standing urns placed either side of the arbour. These complimented the planting around the gardens and were repurposed back down to the house with ease after the ceremony.

Reception Floral

The table styling was so elegant in the Garden Room. Large long tables had been hired in and a runner grounded the florals in the middle of the table. I created a collection of arrangements to keep the design natural and with no formula. From large bowls to little bud vases the florals where woven down the table between candle light and elegant cut glass.

Extra Elements

Jennifer and Matts timing for their wedding was pretty special - outside the Garden Room climbing the beautiful stone wall is this wisteria interspersed with a large clematis.

One area I alway encourage my couples to dress is the entrance to Boconnoc. Guests come and go from this area and often it is where drinks are set up. A large urn placed on the table finishes off this space.
